THE CREATIVE PROCESS
01RESEARCH & WRITING
I’ve just smartened up the boxes here and added a few little embellishments: Every hero needs an origin story. Creating a comic book involves brainstorming the story and scripting the dialogue. Our writer focuses on an original synopsis of the important story points and character interactions. Then, moving into scripting the dialogue with reviews and any changes the book needs.
02CONCEPT & STORYBOARD
Concepts and storyboards begin to introduce our heroes – the artists. Many discussions take place between the creative writer and the meticulous artists about their visions of the look and what the writer imagined for each scene, panel and page.
03DESIGN & BRAND
Design and Brand is where thoughts are brought to life with pen and paper. Our artists have the perfect idea in their minds and start with a sketch of what is happening on the page. They continue by adding detail and colour until the final result is ready for the team lead to review and make any improvements.
04MARKET
Once the pages are pencilled, inked and coloured, the book needs to be created. Organising the pages for printing and getting the name of our new products to heroic fans like you. Seeing our latest issue online for the whole world to be able to be a part of our heroes’ stories, with a speedy delivery.
